Hydrangea paniculata trial at Rutgers Gardens
The evening will include a tour of the 28 plants that are being evaluated at the Hydrangea paniculata trial at Rutgers Gardens. This is the 4th year of the trial, which has been set up with three plants of each cultivar, with one plant cut back hard and two untouched. Although the plants will most likely just be setting buds by June 12th, the group will have the opportunity to evaluate the plants based upon its form, resistance to potential storm damage and start of flower development.
