NJNLA’s Last-Minute Recertification Class Offerings

     As a benefit to our members (and potential members!), we are offering the following pre-recorded webinars to help you obtain your recertification credits.  If your NJ Pesticide License is expiring this year, you will need to have all of your recertification credits completed by October 31^st.  These webinars offer many different credits – be sure to sign up for the ones that will get you the credits you need!

     Since these are pre-recorded webinars, you will not have the opportunity to ask questions, but you will benefit from listening to the questions asked during the original broadcast.  You will need to attend the entire webinar in order to receive credits, and you must provide a photo of yourself holding up a photo ID to be sent right before, during or immediately after the webinar (this must be done for each webinar you register for).  Instructions on how to send your photo will be provided in your registration confirmation. 

     Registration for all webinars MUST be completed no later than one hour before the start time of the webinar – no exceptions.  The link to join the webinar will be sent just prior to the start (within one hour) of the webinar.

 Invasive Forest Pests: New Threats and Their Management

Paul J. Kurtz, Entomologist will be giving a talk containing an update on new Spotted Lantern Fly (SLF) biology information and the control program in NJ.  The focus will be on potential new threats: Asian Crazy Worm, Beech Leaf Disease and Red Bay Ambrosia Beetle.  The presentation will cover pest biology, identification and their control measures.
