Hall's Garden Center will be hosting a meeting with two excellent speakers talking about a variety of plant topics:

John Mohr have been working in the nursery industry for Fifty years. Twenty two of those years was spent at Split rock nursery under the tutelage of Larry Frank. Split rock was an Eight acre Nursery in Paramus NJ, Known for growing Dwarf Conifers and Rhododendrons. From there John spent 13 years at Shemin Nurseries. In 2000, he attained my career goal of working for the premier grower of dwarf and unusual conifers in the world, Iseli nursery, for the last 16 years.  John will be speaking about some of the best and most unique dwarf conifers available in the trade today.

Stephen Schuckman is an ISA Certified Arborist and a New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert, and has worked for both public entities and well respected horticultural institutions. Steve has seen the all the good, bad, and ugly pruning cuts and mistakes you could imagine, and is going to share with you some of the most (unfortunately) common mistakes made by landscapers. He is will emphasize correct practices and the importance of knowing your plants.
