Entry Fee

The entry fee for 2014 has been reduced from $100 to $45 for members of the association.  This is the first year that the program is being facilitated using the new NJNLA.org platform, and we anticipate this process to be easier, but not without glitches to be resolved.  As such, we want to encourage as many companies to participate and see value in participating.  Award winners will not be given free tickets to the Annual Dinner as has been the case in previous years.  You will be prompted for payment at the conclusion of the submission process.

Winning recipients will be honored and their awards presented at the NJNLA Annual Dinner on December 4, at Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ.  Winner will be presented award plaques at the dinner.  Winning projects will be displayed at the NJ Plants Trade show and the NJ Flower Show as well.

A jury of industry professionals from various segments of the industry will be assembled to judge the award entries.  Judges will be asked to rate the projects in the following categories:

Overall Design  |  Use of Plant Material  |  Use of Hardscape  |  Quality of Plan/Presentation  |  Quality of Workmanship  |  Use of Design Principles and Elements  |  "I just like it!"

Lighting and water feature special awards will be judged similarly, with emphasis placed on those features.
